Talking Events.

I'm Alex Cooper-Hohn. I currently live in London and am in my last couple years of school where I am taking the International Baccalaureate. I was born in England but my mother is American and my father was born in England but both parents are Chinese-Jamaican.

 

I have aspirations for going to university in the United States and studying business, economics and history. Subsequent to this I would hope to get work that involves all of these subjects in some way but also being able to be a freelance journalist for the economist. In addition, I would want to create a charity, which works on major issues of the modern day.

 

I have a big interest in events correlated with the future economic situation of countries and the historical connection. However, the idea of learning something new which is either not seen by others or from aspects not widely known excites me. I often read the Economist, New York Times and Financial Times. I use the information from these papers and journals as well as other information acquired from peers and sources to write my articles on this blog.

 

I take pride in being an open person to all opinions and cultures and in fact I desire this diversity on this blog.

 

Key issues that I want to adress are solving climate change and understanding the history to war torn countries in the Middle East and Africa.

When reading my articles, always have your own opinion when reading it and do your own research as I can often be wrong or shift my perspective on the issue at hand in a later date.
